Battle System
Battles here will differ based on trainers though most common is 1 vs. 1 or 3 vs. 3. 6 vs. 6 are also viable but for the sake of ease 1 or 3 is greatly preferred.
We have a dice system in place to make this a bit more fair. For every Pokemon used in the fight you will have 3 posts to use them and either at the top or bottom you'll have a template to fill out. To make that a little clearer if it's a 1 on 1 battle then each person would post three times besides an opening/calling out the Pokemon. If it's a 3 on 3 battle then you would post a total of 9 times not counting when you call out a new Pokemon. For opening posts you do not have to roll the dice though it would be greatly appreciated if you'd fill out the rest of the template.
The catch is though if you're using a lower leveled Pokemon than the opponent then you'll gain a penalty.
The penalty/bonus will apply to each rolled die. Calculations will be determined by the staff that judges the fight so simply use the template when you post and things should go smoothly.
At the end of each set of 3 posts tally up the dice and whoever gets the highest total wins that fight and whoever wins the most, especially for the 3 on 3 fights, wins the actual battle.
Template:Pokemon being used:
Pokemon's level:
Dice: (remember to remove the asterisks!)
[*dice=10][*dice=10][*dice=10]

Capture System
Capture System
This is probably the easiest system on the site. All it requires is that a staff member logs into the Wild Pokemon account. After that they'll post in your thread detailing exactly what Pokemon it is, using the template offered in the character application for ease and then will roll (5) 10 sided dice in the post ([*dice=10]) and then the user will roll the same amount of dice and whoever has the highest total wins. If the user wins, well, they've got a new Pokemon, if they don't the Pokemon escapes.
__________
Coordinator Competition System
Coordinator Competition System
Extremely simple, when a competition is offered all you must do is post a regular rp post describing everything for the competition. All that is required is that the Pokemon being used uses 2 or more of their attacks in creative ways. You're judged by your posting quality and the creativity and uniqueness in the way the attacks are used. This is definitely the time and place to go all out in descriptions! But remember; you must find a balance between detailed and boring! Prizes for this will include ribbons & evolution stones.
__________
Daycare/Breeding System
Daycare/Breeding System
The Daycare is extremely simple. There will be a thread in the actual Daycare area for you to post your Pokemon. They will grow ONE level every week from when they were deposited.
If you deposit two Pokemon of opposite genders that are of the same breeding group every two weeks there will be a chance that they will breed by themselves.
If you would like to breed your own Pokemon, outside of the Daycare (ie you're a Breeder most commonly), simply post the Pokemon in the proper thread, providing they can breed together (ie same breeding group & opposite genders unless it's like a Ditto) and staff will reply with a dice roll showing how many eggs were produced, if any. You will be able to take one of the eggs (which will be specified to what species they are), the rest will be put up for sale/adoption by the Daycare center.
Eggs will not hatch until 2 weeks after they've been picked up/adopted. Their parents may not breed for 2 weeks after they have attempted once. So even if they produce no eggs you will have to wait 2 weeks.
Breeders with their own farm/ranch must follow the same rules but can breed there with their own thread devoted to breeding.
Please note that breeding may only be done on ranches/farms and the Daycare Center.
__________
Leveling System
Leveling System
All Pokemon in the Daycare Center will obtain a level every week they are in there.
While battling, add up the total of the dice rolled for a particular Pokemon and if it adds up to over 100 they gain a level. This will roll over so feel free to keep tabs of it in the PC thread for your Pokemon!
__________
Evolution System
Evolution System
Pokemon that evolve via level up will act normally.
Pokemon that evolve via happiness will evolve when they've been with their owner for some time (at least a month) and have been actively used, upon level up.
Pokemon that require evolution stones will still use these, coordinators may obtain them by winning competitions and others may purchase them from Prof. Rose.
Pokemon that require special items will still use these, these will be available from Prof. Rose and possibly as random items found when traveling.
Pokemon that require trading to evolve will still require this.
