Appearence: Kane stands at a full height of 6'0" with a lean, lithe build. His skin is naturally pale with just the slightest hint of color giving it a peachy tone. Though he has been known to tan just slightly from being out in the sun. His hair is a stark contrast to his skin, resting upon his head in a messy, silver spikes. His bangs are messy and fringe partially to the left. Though a few loose strands fall between his eyes. His eyes are a deep amber color that could be mistaken for golden yellow in the sunlight. He has a strong build with a broad chest and shoulders. His torso tapers off from the broad chest into a narrower waist with a firm stomach. His limbs are long and firm from hours of training both by himself and with pokemon. His features include almond shaped eyes that are usually heavily lidded, thin, pink lips, raised cheekbones, and a straight, narrow nose.
Kane's style consists of darker, muted colors. Mostly in shades of gray and black. Though he has been known to wear other colors like blue or red when it gets too hot outside. He is usually seen in a muscle shirt paired with loose jeans held up by a studded belt. His feet are usually covered by a pair of boots since he usually does a lot of climbing. Though he switches over to regular tennis shoes when on the ground. A loose, button up shirt usually covers his shoulders and left open and hangs loosely on his shoulders. His most prized possession is a silver chain necklace that he wears around his neck at all times. there is a small black upside down onyx tribal flame rimmed with silver. It belonged to his father and was passed down to him when he took control of the gym.

Personality:
Kane is usually a calm, laidback kind of guy. He usually appears aloof and stoic since his eyelids fall half mast over his eyes. He tends to keep to himself most of the time, though it is said that he has a split personality. The second personality is different than his normal one. It only shows when he's out training or battling. He is a very competitive person. He will fight until he has nothing left. He is strong willed and determined. He is hot tempered and loud when in the heat of a battle. He is very stubborn and strategic as well. Though he may appear calmer normally, he really isn't. He likes to mess with others. He uses sarcasm as a native language and likes to test others. He will try to get under someone's skin just to bring the best out of them.
Kane is also a notorious flirt. He is fond of both genders and will flirt with anyone, be it seriously or just for fun. He is a bit of a jerk, but he's deeply loyal to friends and whoever he decides to settle down with. He is a playful person and just likes to irritate people to get a laugh. It takes a strong sense of humor and patience to deal with him. Overall Kane is a great guy to be around if you can handle all the jokes and flip flop personality.

History:
Kane is the oldest of two children born to Cassie and Alexander Reid. He was born and raised in the mining town of Kica Town. He has been raised around pokemon all his life. His first encounter with Pokemon came when his father showed him his team from his days as a Trainer. His father had owned an Onyx and Kane had tried to ride it when he was only 6 years old. He would play with his father's other pokemon every day along with his younger sister. He spent most of his time watching her as well. His mother was an established pokemon breeder who bred Ground/Rock types. Kane grew up helping his mother as well as going out and feeding the pokemon when his father was away at the gym.
When he was older, Kane set out on his journey. His starter pokemon was an Aron bred from his father's Aggron and female Lairon that his mother owned. He left for his journey at 10 years old. He spent a few years traveling to different regions and collecting pokemon. He also battled a few gym leaders along the way to collect badges. He finished his journey within a couple years and returned home. He rested at home until his twentieth birthday when his father finally stepped down from his place as gym leader of Kica Town. Kane took over and his father gave him his special necklace. A necklace that had been passed down from his father's father and back another generation. It was like a family heirloom and Kane wears it with pride. He now runs the Kica Town gym and spends a majority of his time out in the cliffs surrounding the mines, training his pokemon as well as exercising himself.
