Appearence: Airis does stand at five feet and two inches, athletic kind of build. Though mostly just toned and fit more then too much muscle mass and definition. Coming from living and helping work with Pokémon with her parents, she needed to train her own body to help with moving Pokémon without much help herself. Her feminine curves are pretty over average too. Her hips well balanced to her upper curves, and her legs moving gracefully past them. She has an odd way of walking and posture, just one of relaxation and being comfortable. But there is a hint of caution, or readiness as she moves.
The types of clothes she wears is rather typical for a young woman who loves to get her hands dirty. She prefers button up shirts and blouses, with or without collars and cuffs. But she does wear just t-shirts or just tank tops on hot days or where she knows she will be working hard. Skirts going down just past mid-thigh, shorts, or pants that go to mid calf or ankle of any style really as long as they are comfortable. Socks or stockings that go up above the knees is quite common for her too, simple shoes or boots as well with nothing too flashy. As for the colors of her clothes she always always picks those toned down or of the cool colors, or even neutrals. Anything really that won't get in her way while she works with her Pokemon.
She tends to wear her hair up in a type of bun, though not all of her hair would stay in and often locks poke out here and there.. Hardly any make-up except for a little lip gloss, usually of the lavender variety, is pretty much it for her. But she tries to keep her look professional, though with her kind of life style that can be pretty tough while out in the fields. The only type of jewelry or trinkets she carries around is a charm bracelet on her left wrist with some Pokémon charms, all in silver, a simple oval shaped silver pendant with her parents picture in it and their first Pokémon, and a simple silver stud earring in her right ear. Usually she has a a bag with her with a pull tie top that has first aid, and anything else one might need in an emergency.

Secrets: She used to be deaf since birth for most of her life. Because of it she tends to be behind in language and teachings then those of her age. She tries to not let it show however since she got it fixed.
Personality: Airis, since most of her life she couldn't hear, has changed greatly. No longer the timid wallflower who had absolutely no spine, she now has gained new confidence in herself. She was always one who took care of others and her Pokemon, and didn't mind if they harmed her as long as they didn't get hurt. Now however she is able to speak up and do stuff she could never do before. She is open, honest, and blunt about most things, her shy side very rarely showing up. She thinks and acts like a breeder, caretaker and provider and a motherly type figure.
She isn't of course without her downside, she is still learning how to be able to speak since she got her hearing. Being used to typing or writing she actually had time to stop anything too mean from coming out. Now it is just raw and unchanged which can cause her more embarrassment then. She tries her best though to be as great and helpful to those who are kind to their Pokemon.... She however does have a temper to any Pokemon Violence, especially to any illegal activities with Pokemon.

Other Family: Grandparents, aunts and uncles at least three on each side, A rather large but not too large family. The only one she really spends much time with is her Grandma Sefna, who was a breeder back in her day.
Hometown: Ecruteak City, Johto
History: Her parents, Aura and Fero, met and fell in love while still young in their travels as trainer and coordinator. Eventually they settled down and got married in Ecruteak to help train trainers and coordinators locally, and many contests they could get to on top of flying Pokémon as well. Even having a very healthy son who joined them on their adventures as well, that is until Airis was born.
Airis was born deaf, unable to hear even while still in the womb, and thus has no idea what anything sounds like and unable to speak because of it even though she has a voice. The first couple of years were rough, even when they eventually found out what was wrong and she couldn't hear. Fero was heartbroken that his first daughter was unable to hear and gave up with the knowledge she could never truly be a coordinator, or a trainer really. Because she could not hear any danger coming or anything of the sort. But even with the heartache caused by her condition her parents eventually got over it, and even a pending divorce.
When she turned five though she was able to learn how to write rather well, usually though she would be found trying to mimic and follow the Pokémon of their home and ranch like area that held more of their Pokémon. She though followed one deep in the forest and mountains near their home before she couldn't keep up. No people and no Pokémon around her and not being found for several hours has left her traumatized and scarred of being alone especially in darkened places.
During the next few years she would follow her parents and brother around, even her grandmother who showed up to take care of her. Trying to figure out what they were doing and trying to help them almost as if her life depended on them in her sight. Slowly she got more comfortable, especially when she received her Eevee stuffed toy and brush on her seventh birthday. After getting that brush she was often found out in the ranch, calmly brushing Pokémon almost all day and sometimes most of the night.
Because of her being deaf the few friends she had managed to get through her parents friends slowly drifted away from her. Because of their groups of friends not being very understanding or wanting to deal with her, or playing sick jokes on her that eventually ended up her arm being broken when she was twelve years old. Because of that she pretty much lost every single friend except for her family and Pokémon. Yet she doesn't blame some of her friends she lost, because it was never really their fault. She understood they were just trying to fit in and not be alone just like her, so she politely ducked out of their lives as they did hers.
When she was twelve, basically the situation that ended up with her having a broken arm. She was hanging out with one of her actual friends and their group of friends. Most of them were older guys though of fifteen and older so, and thus already maturing for their age while Airis was still rather naive about world and life except for Pokémon. Sadly a few of these guys decided they would follow her home after she was on her way to head home. Trying to touch her in bad places and grabbing at her clothes. She was able to run, getting caught above a short cliff with hardly anything left on her and the men closing in to well rape her. She jumped over the cliff and went down with a rolling tumble, her right arm breaking when she tried to use it to catch herself on some rocks. She was able to get home and the boys got in trouble, but ever since then she has issues with any type of physical advance and can be rather unpredictable in those situations.
Nothing much changed after that, Her grandmother had to go back to her home with her husband and Pokémon. Pokémon and people came and went from the ranch for teaching and her parents went back to their contests when the children were old enough. Her older brother takes care of the ranch and stays at home to help take care of her little sister and her as well while their parents were out. Though once they come home the older brother would go out on small adventures himself.
Leaving home for A Pokemon School was the hardest thing for her, since she never explored or was out much beyond her home city. Scared a little of the new and possibly lonely existence, especially of being alone. Though her brother did say he would come to visit her as often as he could, and that she should go for it because that would help her become a top notch Breeder. Hearing those words from her brother was only thing that made her move her feet and go instead of staying home.
She finally had arrived at the School, and got a Stunky female whom she named Flower. The gentle Pokemon really got along well with her and even took care of her. It didn't take Airis long to get a few friends, especially a bodyguard of a roommate, and tons of Pokemon. She even turned 18 while there, though soon after her first love had left leaving her some Pokemon. That was when she really started collected grass types and trying to get all the ones he left behind so that family wouldn't be fractured. Airis had been set into a depression and became more of a hermit, her room mate and her Pokemon really the only ones around her. Over the 2 years of being at that school, she had gained many Pokemon. Some of which she gave them to good homes, others she took with her to leave at her family ranch. A lot of them however she kept with her most of the time.
With pretty much half of her army of Pokemon she had before, Airis actually went and got a surgery to fix her deafness. Thankfully it seemed it took and worked this time. Years went by as she tried to learn how to speak and hear... Her Pokemon were with her the entire time to help her and frankly it was good training for them considering her goals as a breeder. Now that she was ready for the world, Airis decided to go to this Illeote Region she had heard about. Maybe become a famous breeder for handicaps there as she figures out what else she can do with her life.
