It was time to face the fact. I was utterly lost and the sun was going down. I shivered heavily, wrapping my arms around me, looking down the tunnel I'd chosen. I knew I should have waited and stayed at the center in the town I'd just left. I whimpered a little hearing the sound of rocks falling. Was someone here? Was there a large pokemon? I shuddered heavily, peering into the looming darkness before fumbling for my pokeballs and calling out my Clefairy, hugging the little fairy Pokemon tightly as I sat down, trying not to cry. I hated caves. I hated dark, enclosed places actually so it wasn't limited to caves really. Fae, for that's what I called the Clefairy seemed unfazed though, in fact she seemed to be looking around, trying to get her bearings almost. I tilted my head, brushing my hair behind an ear. I watched her curiously, calming a little. Well, at least I had her right?
The Clefairy started to walk down the path, turning back to beckon me after she'd gone a few feet and I followed after even though I knew she'd never leave me. I shuddered again, tugging my jacket closer. It sounded like we were getting closer to the sound. "Fae!" My voice was a little whiny, obviously scared and she stopped, moving back to me and I sighed heavily. I should go back, try to find an alternative path. I chewed on my lip, glancing over my shoulder that was just as dark as what lay before me. That's when I felt something brush against me and something clattered behind me. I jumped and couldn't help the scream that escaped as I pressed against the wall. Fae jumped, looking around in surprise before she hurried over to pat my knee and I shuddered, sinking down to the floor, sobbing quietly.

The sun was beginning to set on Kica Town. He was finished with making the needed repairs to the battle field in his gym. A few craters had been made due to his rock types getting a bit aggressive in battles. He heaved a relieved sigh and finally stepped outside of his gym. He stretched his arms over his head and stretched out all of his muscles. He rolled his head, groaning when it cracked. Running a hand through his naturally messy, silvery hair, he gave a deep yawn. Fully loosened up from a long day of battling, he pushed off and headed off to wander the town for a while before returning home to rest.
The fading sun had brought an array of colors that coated the town. The colors ranged from pale blues, to bright oranges and yellows with a small splash of pink and purple. The cavern that lead into the town faced the setting sun so the inside was bathed in the brilliant colors. If there was one thing Kane loved about his hometown, it was those caverns. He had spent his childhood roaming it with his father's pokemon as guides. He knew every inch of it by heart. Hitching the strap of his bag over his shoulder, he headed off for the caverns. It was like a nightly routine for him. He would wander inside and greet the various pokemon that inhabited the caverns.
Humming to himself, he wandered the various twists and turns of the cavern. As he was wandering a popping sound echoed from his bag and a red light poured out of the opening he always kept in it for easy access. There was movement, causing him to drop the bag and he groaned when his Lairon, Zephyr wiggled out of the duffel bag. Kane watched as the Lairon shook off the last of the red light, then ran for a nearby wall, headbutting it. The wall shook and a couple rocks slid down. Sighing, he called the Lairon over and kept walking forward. "Shiel...Shiel." Coal chirpped from his shoulder as they reached a small incove inside the the cavern.
Blinking, he turned to where the Shieldon was looking. Before he could go any further, Coal jumped from his shoulder and ran off, Zephyr following close behind. Sighing, he followed until he came upon what had caused the fuss. A young girl maybe two years younger than him, was curled against the wall of the incove. She had a Clefairy with her who was trying to comfort her. Amber orbs narrowed in concern and he stepped forward, trying not to startle her. He frowned when he heard her crying and looked to Coal who was sitting in front of her. "Shiel..Shieldon." He spoke up, quietly, nudging her leg with his head. Zephyr stood by, looking up with concern. Kane moved forward and knelt in front of her. "You alright?" He spoke up, calmly. He kept his gaze on her, slight concern shining in his eyes. [/blockquote]
