Kaida had just arrived in the Illeote region from the Kanto region not long ago to start her journey through the region. Currently, she was now headed down the path in the Mazl Forest with a map in her hand. This forest was like a maze and apparently very easy to get lost in so Kaida was trying to keep to the path so she didn't get lost
"So this is Mazl Forest. It is suppose to be full of bug and grass type pokemon." She spoke to one of her loyal companions and friends who was currently sitting on her head. Kaida cared a lot for her pokemon, they were her closest friends and the only ones here in Illeote that she trusted. Visenya, her Vibrava, looked down at the map in her hands and chirped in response.
The sun was shining brightly in the sky but it wasn't too warm out. There was a nice breeze and overall a great day to be traveling and Kaida was thankful for that...she was never very found of cold or wet weather, especially when she was traveling.
"It shouldn't take us too long to get through this forest if we stick to the path unless we run into too many pokemon...or we get lost." Kaida said, not worried at all that they might get lost. She quickly folded up the map she had been holding and tugged her backpack off her back for a moment and placing the map inside before putting her backpack back onto her back.
Meanwhile, Visenya gave Kaida a look that clearly stated 'Don't jinx us.'. Kaida rolled her eyes which only caused Visenya to glare at her. "We won't get lost, there is a path...it is not like we are walking in the middle of the forest. Don't worry, I'll make sure we get through here without getting lost." Kaida said with a sigh as she continued walking, keeping an eye out for any pokemon that might appear.
